GENERAL TERMS
Please provide clear references and instructions, such as a clean reference sheet, mid/high quaility images (if starting scratch) and as clear and detailed instructions so I know what you are looking for!Any rude or ill behaviour such as homophobia, transphobia, racism, hate speech or any form of abuse/disregard to safety is not tolerated, please be respectful and patient with me.Please be patient, and do not spam me about commissions.
If you fail to follow the following rules or cross my personal bounderies, I have every right to refuse you a commission.Please do not guilt trip me if I ignore or refuse you my work, I have every right to.IT IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE
PAYMENT
Payment can either be made by full, or pay 60% upfront, then a 40% when completed. Or can be made via installments over a week by week basis. Im open to ccommunicate about which method works best not only for me but for the client as well. Note that I only accept through Ko-Fi or PayPal, and the "family and friends" option must be used to make payments! This is to avoid me being scammed and being left with a situation that is not ideal, but it also protects you in the fact I can trust you with your money and time.
Payment must be received within 24 hours after receiving confirmation I can take your commission, otherwise it will be cancelled.
PROCESS
Work In Progress will be given through sketches, finished lineart etc up until the final productI also provide WIPS when I am unsure about something in particular, however all detailed of your commission of what you wanted should have already been
stated.The time it should take me to finish your commission can vary, ranging from 3 weeks up to 2 months depending on factors such as My health both mental and physical, order of commission, complexity, work, family issues or an issue would not like to publicly announce You will be contacted about this asap if any of it was to occur.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
I will do everything in my power to make any customer happy.However, after a commission is finished, only small changes are allowed to be made eg. colour correction or marking mistakes. Any bigger changes I will have to either charge or deny, so PLEASE make sure you have everything you want told to me before I finish up the commission! I will not redraw the entire commission from scratch if it was already completed.Please please please make sure you tell me everything about what you want from the commission to save the hassle of me changing things often and you getting upset.
COPYRIGHT/USAGE POLICY
Me, the artist, hold every right to the created artwork, not the commissioner.
Therefore, Im allowed to use the artwork to:
Promote myself with any place or site
Display my art
Post it wherever I want
use as a reference people can see for what my art is like.The commissioner has the rights to:
Use the artwork for personal use unless agreed otherwise
Print the art, and claim the rights of their characters but not the artwork itself.
Use the art to promote themselves with proper credit where it is due.If you break any of the rules when using my art eg: claiming its yours, not giving credit etc, I can and will blacklist you from further commissions and any other things I create.The following is considered copyright infringement:
Selling the art (making money from my art)
Taking credit as if it were your own
altering the artwork without my, the artists consent
Removing my signitures.
CANCELLING/REFUNDING POLICY
I have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.
You are able to contact me if, for any valid reason (emergencys and anything that would need immediate funds) in order to cancel a commission, HOWEVER, if I have already started the artwork to the point where time is lost (lineart and anything after) I can only give a partial refind, and if the commission is already comepleted there wont be any refund provided.
If money has not been sent yet the commissioner has the right to cancel the commission.If it comes to the case I can no longer complete your commission for any reason, a full refund will be given.
The artist reserves the right to cancel the commission at any time, without any explanation, if needed.If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted and I will be the sole holder of the art for good.
You will be blacklisted to ever receive art or characters from me, the artist, ever again.
Your name will be publicly posted everywhere I want to for others to watch out for.
I am a 20 year old self taught artist, college student and a lot of this money would have covered expenses and bills I would have to pay otherwise.
DESIGN/CUSTOM USAGE
A toyhou.se account is not needed but highly recommended when getting a custom/design from me!!You may alter the design minimally as long as it still resembles the original design and credit is given for the original designYou can only sell the character for what you bought it at! Unless you have gotten art for said character you cannot increase the price!Under no circumstances you may claim the design as your own, you may claim the edits done to the design but the original design must be credited to meDo not under any circumstances get a character or design from me and then block me without any reason whatsoeverDo not purposely make sure I cannot see the design on toyhouse, without any reason given.
PERSONAL, COMMERCIAL AND ADVERT USE
To further be able to widen my audience as a whole, I will add this section that goes through the personal, commersial, and advertismental use of my artwork, and what it means if you want to use a specific artwork for the likes of pngtuber model, stickers, etc.IMPORTANT: THE PRICE WILL VARY ON A PERCENTAGE OF ORIGINAL PRICE FOR COMMERSIAL OR ADVERTISMENT USE.Personal use would usually include using my art as a profile picture, a background on a device like your computer, tablet or phone, as a few examples. This doesnt affect any of the prices listed as its indended use is just for you, hence personal.Commercial use would fall under pngtubers, using my art as stickers, or any business related use like a logo. This will have an increase of about 10%, just to cover the small fee for this use.Advertisements, like the ads youd see in posters, videos or anything related in nature to advertise something using my art in it, will have a 25% increase in price, as it will cover for the advertisement rights that come along with the artwork.NOTE: I MOSTLY ONLY ACCEPT PERSONAL ART COMMISSIONS, IF YOU PLAN TO COMMISSION THE LIKES OF COMMERCIAL OR ADVERT ART PLEASE STATE SO.
COMMUNICATION
Communication can be made through either Instagram or Discord. They are the easiest I feel to use and will cause the least issues. Both my Instagram and Discord share the exact same username to stop any confusion. If you do not have any other form of communication, I will be slowly rolling out the use of emails, so that more people can reach out and I can send bigger high quality files directly to you.
